Grace Fellowship Church is a diverse community of ordinary individuals who bravely place their trust in Jesus, allowing Him to perform extraordinary feats.
Our church started with a small group of people who used to congregate in a small living room in Lampasas, Texas in 2003. This group was burdened with the idea of engaging our community.
Our founding pastor, Paul Kenley, wanted to have a place where people who had been hurt by church or have never been to church would be able to discover a deep relationship with Christ and become a part of an authentic community of believers.
Today, we continue to hold fast to those guiding principles as we engage our community with grace, truth and hope and gather together in fellowship and worship.
We believe God is a triune God who exists in complete unity as Father, Son, and Spirit. God created the universe and mankind as revealed in Gensesis.
We believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah of Israel who came to die for the sins of the world. The role of the Messiah of Israel was to open the door of salvation to the world through the work of the Spirit of God through the apostles and early church leaders described through the prophets and evident in the book of Acts.
We believe that the Spirit was given to man as promised by Jesus in John 14 to lead the church into all truth and testify to us Jesus and our role in the kingdom of God.
We believe God created man and woman in His image from an overflow of his creative power, mercy, and fellowship to walk with His creation.
Man has been created with a will to choose his path and also has the ability and responsibility to respond to the call of reconciliation from God spoken from the foundation of the world, offered through the forgiveness of sin accomplished by Jesus' death burial and resurrection.
We believe that Jesus died willingly for the atonement of the sins of the world according to 1 John.
Though Jesus' death, the sins of man will be forgiven for all who call on the name of Jesus for salvation.
We believe the Holy Spirit's work in the individual believer's life will lead them to reconciliation, wholeness, and a life that will lead others to faith in Jesus through the transformation of lives and the forgiveness of sin.
We believe the Spirit of God empowers the ministry of the local church in accordance with the Great Commisson
The Spirit of God produces visible fruits from Galatians 6 to enable the gifts detailed by the Apostle Paul in the 1 Corithians 12-15, to minister to the body of Christ and to the community at large in grace truth and love.
We believe the bible is true as written to include the Old and New testament. While the application of the principles from the Bible vary through time, the God revealed within its pages, how we please Him in our walk, and how are called to his kingdom have not.
We often live lives with very little margin and very little capacity. The fruit of the spirit speaks through our gifts to build collective margin in our community to be able to serve and minister to one another.
Men and women everywhere are born to live together, not alone. As a closed-knit church, we believe we can all walk along our individual paths, together. With a strong shared sense of His love, each member of the Grace Fellowship can find a way to live a wholesome life of faith while sharing the struggles, happy moments and wishes with other people of the church.
We live life in seasons and not snapshots. In the long run, the grace of Jesus and the power of the Spirit are the primary change agents in the lives of individuals. We walk with people during those seasons and celebrate the days when the snapshots of life change.
